With an adjustable flex, this snowboard boot is suited for all sorts of riding and can handle the whole mountain from the park to the backcountry.

Outer boot
The Flex Control System allows you to customize the stiffness of the tongue to your wishes. The removable, high-rebound Hytrel® tongue stiffeners enable riders to custom-tune their boot flex. Keep both in for maximum support, use just one for increased lateral or medial response, or take them both out for a softer-flexing boot. As your boots soften up over time, add the tongue stiffeners back in to extend the life of your boots. The V3 Ultimate Waffle represents Vans most progressive thinking in outsole technology. Loaded with features, it is found only on the top shelf product and offers the widest range of versatility. From stomping a big landing to side-hilling a hike (and even traction on your sled) you can count on the Ultimate Waffle.

Liner
The V3 UltraCush™ Liner represents pinnacle performance, support, and custom comfort. It features an asymmetrical adjustable and/or removable X-cage for precision heel hold, plus an arsenal of tech features engineered to over-deliver for even the most demanding riders. With the asymmetrical X-cage, your heel stays where it belongs—locked into the liner, keeping you in constant contact with your board. FlashDry fabric technology is engineered to act like a second skin, pushing moisture to the surface and eliminating it as fast as possible. These fabrics are engineered to repel and resist wetting out to help provide quick-drying performance that keeps the user dry and comfortable. Setting a new industry standard in moisture management and all-condition comfort, this technology has now been integrated into all of the newly redesigned Vans V3 UltraCush FlashDry liner. The Popcush Footbed features the tri-density Popcush construction and an OrthoLite® open-cell foam top layer. The TPU arch support heel clip provides stability while allowing torsional flex.

Lacing System
The Vans Hybrid Plus Boa Closure System merges traditional lacing with the power of Boa closure. The Hybrid Plus System expands the range of flex control from the original Hybrid Boa configuration by adding an extra Boa pass around the back of the boot and across the instep to optimize the lines of pull and maximize flex control capabilities.

The synthetic leather wears off much faster and the boots start to get soft fairly quickly. Unfortunately Vans really downgraded this year's model.

Hey, ich bin Jonas und snowboarde seit ca. 10 Jahren. In einer Saison verbringen ich ungefähr 20-30 Tage auf dem Berg. Die meiste Zeit halte ich mich im Backcountry auf, sofern vorher genug Schnee gefallen ist. Sonst fahre ich jedoch auch gerne im Park oder nutze frisch präparierte Pisten für entspannte Abfahrten. Sehr wichtig sind mir somit Boots, auf die man sich in jedem Terrain verlassen kann. Größe: 188 cm, Gewicht: 82kg, Local Area: Schladming

Die Vans Infuse sind nun mein zweites paar Boots und deutlich angenehmer zu tragen als mein Vorgänger. Die Befürchtung vor anfänglichen Druckstellen am Fuß oder ein ewiges Einlaufen kam mir vergeblich, denn bereits am ersten Tag auf dem Berg saßen die Vans Infuse wie angegossen. Mit dem BOA-Verschluss ist es möglich den Schuh ohne großen Kraftaufwand zu fixieren. Das Schnürsystem ist aufgrund des Power-Straps gar nicht mal zwingend notwendig, verleiht dem Boot jedoch ein freshes Design. Der Power-Strap dient für den perfekten Halt am oberen Ende des Schuhs und lässt sich für steile Abfahrten oder tiefem Schnee kurzfristig nochmals korrigieren. Den X-Cage verwende ich hauptsächlich im Backcountry, sodass der Schuh für maximale Performance eng sitzt. Im Park fahre ich ohne den X-Cage, damit mein Fuß bei Jumps oder Rails über größeren Spielraum verfügt.

Mit dem vielseitigen Verschlusssystem lässt sich der Vans Infuse individuell einstellen und bietet somit für jede Bedingung die perfekte Stabilität. Breits nach wenigen Abfahrten war mir bereits bewusst, dass sich die Investition für die Vans Infuse gelohnt hatte. Für Rider, die in jedem Terrain unterwegs sind, kann ich den Schuh unbedingt weiterempfehlen.

Had it 2 years ago,
took it in my right size and thought it would break in like a boot usually does. However I am used to start season in tight boots to make them fit right in the long term
The font part of the foot was so narrow that i had to stop ridding before end of the day 3 times in a row.
Gave them to a friend who sized at least 1/2 size lower than the boot. He was happy
features were really exciting and ankle support was great, so I was pretty bummed of the dot issue
Wonder if they changed it on the newest version
Still feel attracted by the features and support the boot offers but I kind of lost confidence to give it a new try now. (

Der Vans Infuse war ca der 8. Boot den ich anprobiert hatte, auf der Suche nach neuen Boots. Meine Voraussetzungen waren Tourentauglichkeit ohne Kompromisse beim Gas geben. Eigentlich war ich mir sicher, dass der Infuse nichts für mich ist, da mir das Vorjahresmodell viel zu schmal und hart war. Als ich aber in dieses Modell gestiegen bin, war ich extrem positiv überrascht wie bequem der Innenschuh war. Durch die BOA Fixierung der Ferse sitzt der Fuß bombenfest im Schuh, die traditionelle Schnürung ist immer noch die zuverlässigste Art der Zonen-genauen Anpassung an den Fuß und der Strap gibt zusätzlichen Halt am oberen Ende des Boots. Man hat außerdem die Möglichkeit die Zunge mit zwei verschiedenen Einlagen in der Steifigkeit anzupassen, sowie mit dem herausnehmbaren „X-Cage“ zusätzlichen Fersenhalt am Liner zu schaffen. Aktuell nutze ich diese noch nicht, vor allem zum Tourengehen wäre mir das zu steif, aber falls der Boot über die Zeit mal weicher werden sollte, kann man die Lebenszeit damit definitiv noch um einiges verlängern!
Die Sohle hat super Grip, auch auf harten Pisten und eisigen Stellen hatte ich volles Vertrauen in das Profil. Von mir auf jeden Fall die vollste Empfehlung für diese Boots!

Ich bin Snowboarder und Surfer aus Leidenschaft. Seit über 15 Jahren snowboarde ich und verbringe gut 50 Tage in der Saison auf dem Berg - Wenn genug Schnee liegt, findet ihr mich möglichst tief in diesem, an allen anderen Tagen schmeiß ich meine Knochen auch gerne im Park durch die Gegend. Dabei steht der Spaß mit guten Freunden, die Natur und frischen Powder zu genießen im Vordergrund. Aber auch im Park Progression zu betreiben, sich über neue Tricks zu freuen und über lustige Bails zu lachen ist jeden Snowboardtag aufs Neue jegliche blaue Flecken und schmerzende Knochen wert.
