The high construction of the skateboard trucks means fewer wheelbites, as the distance between wheel and deck is greater than comparatively with low trucks. This allows tricks to be more forgiving and larger wheel diameters also work without problems.
Thunder truck width recommendation
The width of the trucks should roughly match the deck. The truck size either specifies the width of the truck itself (axle width) or the width of its hanger.
