Travis’ Short Wide Directional

The Lib Tech T-Rice Orca is another board designed with the master himself, Travis Rice. The wider shape allows you to carve with no toe drag and float over pillows, but it's still narrow enough to ride it all season long, not just on deep days.

Riding Style
The T-Rice Orca is a weapon to carve, float and rip the whole mountain.

Shape
The Directional Shape increases float and stability at speed. Directional is the classic snowboard shape, designed to be ridden with a longer nose than tail to concentrate pop in the tail while still giving you plenty of float, flow, and control to rip any terrain or condition. The Magne-Traction® serrated edges give great edge hold all over the mountain, especially on hard pack and ice.

Profile
C2x means narrow rocker between your feet combined with longer elliptical camber sections out to the contact points. Kills everything! Aggressive perfection in turning, jibbing and unreal float in pow combined with a tip to tail control, power, and pop of camber.

Flex
The medium flex gives the board a balanced feel. It’s hard enough to stay in control on hard charged mountain lines or bigger kickers, but it still has enough flex for advanced powder buttering.

Construction
The Original Power Construction is a very lightweight, environmentally nice and strong construction design of Lib Tech. The Core consists of a strong aspen and paulownia, giving you a strong and light core with a crisp pop. Bi-ax and Tri-Ax Glass as well as Basalt Alloy surround the wood core and add the needed stiffness and durability. Birch Internal Sidewalls are placed along the sidewall of your board to add board control to the sandwich construction. Stronger, more pop, and more control. The Sintered Base is fast and durable. The UHMW Sintered Sidewalls are a Lib Tech innovation. Twice as sintered as any other sidewalls, tough, fast, hard, waterproof, handsome and light. NO TOXIC ABS! As edges do not go throughout at tip and tail, these areas are protected by a UHMW Tip/Tail Impact Deflection system to avoid damage. Finally, the Eco Sublimated Bio Beans Topsheet features a tough and eco-sublimated layer to complete the construction.

Snowboards er som regel leveret klar til brug med en vokset base og slebede kanter. Men denne såkaldte fabriksklargøring er ikke særlig holdbar og dit nye snowboard bør vokses efter et par dage og vedligholdes på regelmæssig basis.
