The best splitboard binding to rock the resort
The Free Ranger binding from Karakoram is part of the Prime Connect series. These bindings are made for the rider who is looking for a binding for everything, but whose focus is on snowboarding with the solid board. The Free Ranger is extremely responsive, but still has a surfy touch. With the Quiver Connector you can ride them on your solid board, with the Connect Split Kit on your splitboard.
Highback
The stiff Reactive Highback offers an optimised relationship between stiffness and weight. Full control is thus guaranteed. The Free Ranger has the Dual Ride-Stride Forward Lean so that you can also enjoy the full benefits of Karakoram technology when splitboarding. With it you can adjust the highback from walk mode to ride mode in seconds.
Baseplate
The highlights of the Free Ranger are the Surf Sidewalls, which give you enough flex for tweaks and grabs, and the Power Sidewalls, which also ensure good power transmission and binding stiffness. For a smooth ride, the base has an EVA footbed.
Straps
The AirForm ankle and toe straps focus on the essentials. Without bling bling, the focus of these medium flex straps is on comfort and support.
