Outer boot
The Dyneema shell material is extremely durable with a low weight. The Carbitex reinforced ankle area provides more stability and control without adding weight. Add to that the welded backstay for more support and durability. The 1:1 PowerUp tongue with fixed flex sits firmly between the boot and the tongue, so there is no need for adjustment when riding. The freely movable shaft allows the upper and lower zones of the boot to be flexed individually. This provides a fluid forward motion, maximum heel stability and minimal upper deformation
The outsole of Vibram® XWing and Ecostep™ Plus rubber gives you the legendary grip of Vibram® together with extra light weight, consisting of 50 % recycled rubber. Strategically placed EVA, TPU and Ecostep rubber provide traction where you need it while the outsole remains durable and lightweight
ReBounce cushioning gets even closer to your feet. This additional layer is attached to the outer boot and offers more impact protection directly under your foot.
 
Liner
The Life+ liner with Ultralon Performance Foam® is thermoformable, lightweight and scores with top performance. The responsive PU tongue provides speed and resistance to fatigue, showing excellent performance over a long period of high use and DRYRIDE Heat Cycle lining captures, radiates and reflects body heat inwards to keep feet warmer while wicking away heat-trapping moisture.

Lacing system
With the Speed Zone lacing, the boot can be laced up in a flash. Adjusting the traction in the upper and lower range takes only a matter of seconds. New England Ropes are virtually indestructible, do not kink and are easy to lace.
