    Produkt beskrivelse

Put your seat upright and off you go - the Burton Flight Attendant

Designed to be a terrain-slaying alternative to more traditional twin shapes, the Burton Flight Attendant is a freethinker that dissects both pow and hardpack with equal precision. Balanced freeride geometry is the secret with setback camber and sidecut that are centred on your stance to create a twin freestyle feel when riding flat base. On edge, the board turns tight and quick, with entry rocker and taper for added float and flow. Less big mountain than the Landlord but more aggressive and directional than the Custom.

    Riding Style
The Flight Attendant finds its sweet spot almost everywhere: From steep lines and spontaneous slashes to wind lips and pillows. The Flight Attendant is perfect for intermediate and expert riders.

    Shape
Directional is the classic snowboard shape, designed to be ridden with a slightly longer nose than tail to concentrate pop in the tail while still giving you plenty of float, flow, and control to rip any terrain or condition. A 10mm tapered shape means the nose is wider than the tail, promoting smooth turn entry and exit, stability at speed, and enhanced deep snow flotation. Pro-Tip™ is a tapered tip and tail thickness, which reduces swing weight for easier mobility.

    Profile
Directional Camber features an entry rocker that causes the nose to lift while camber under both feet maintains momentum and stability through deep-driving turns and variable conditions.

    Flex
The Directional Flex features increased pop in the tail and a more resilient nose that allows riders to easily maintain control through all terrain and conditions.

    Construction
The FSC™ Certified Super Fly II™ 700G Core features stronger and lighter woods targeting specific areas of the core to provide pop, strength, and reduced weight. Additionally, with Dualzone™ EGD™, wood grain is positioned along the toe and heel edges on two continuous zones, perpendicular to the rest of the wood core, for consistent edge-hold and added strength. Squeezebox profile improves pop and performance through the balance of thicker, more powerful core sections with thinner, more flexible sections. Rider energy is transferred outward from beneath the feet, energizing the tip and tail while making the board snappier, more stable, and easier to manipulate.
The Triax™ Fiberglass offers a versatile flex and response for everything from mini to mega shred. The ultra-light Carbon I-Beam™ backbone increases pop and longitudinal snap. At the Sintered WFO Base, the wax is worked deep into the pores of this extremely absorbent, dense material. The result is an extremely durable base that stays wide open in every weather condition the whole season long. Super Sap® Epoxy is a resin formulated with bio-based materials that reduces the carbon footprint by 50% over conventional all-petroleum-based epoxies. Less oil consumption means even less of a carbon footprint per board.
Stronger, faster, easier, and more adjustable - The Channel® gives you ultimate control of your stance and your board in a design compatible with all major bindings (not just Burton’s). In fact, Burton trusts it so much that all boards with The Channel are backed by a 3-year warranty.
The Burton-exclusive Infinite Ride™ technology allows Burton to maximise pop and strength by overbuilding the board, then putting it in a machine that breaks in the board for you. Your board will maintain its flex, pop, and feel from the first day forward, season after season.

Every Burton snowboard core is Forest Stewardship Council™ (FSC™ C124994) certified. The FSC™ is an independent non‑profit that promotes environmentally sound, socially beneficial, and economically prosperous management of our world’s forests.
All Burton boards are packaged in the fully compostable and recyclable paper sleeve. Even better, there is no need to remove the webbing before sending it back into the cycle of life.

This board is also available in 'Wide' version. These are wider than normal boards and developed especially for snowboarders with large feet (EU size 44+) to avoid too much overhang of the boots. Wider boards also give you better float in powder.

    Made in Austria

    • Our Austrian factory has also been striving to reduce waste and operate as efficiently as possible.
    • Provides heat and energy to run the presses as well as heat the factory and offices by burning all wood scraps in the furnace.
    • Fully recycles all sidewall and base scrap material back into the process.
    • All sidewalls, cores, and spacers are made on site to reduce the transportation footprint.
    • Most materials sourced from within a 250 mile radius to reduce the overall carbon footprint.
    • Water in board presses is recycled back into the system in a closed loop process to dramatically reduce water usage.
    • No More Lacquer. Starting this winter, we have removed the lacquering stage from the finishing process of all snowboards in order to eliminate the negative environmental and human health effects of the high VOC content (volatile organic compounds) found in traditional snowboard lacquers.

    Mere information

Snowboards er som regel leveret klar til brug med en vokset base og slebede kanter. Men denne såkaldte fabriksklargøring er ikke særlig holdbar og dit nye snowboard bør vokses efter et par dage og vedligholdes på regelmæssig basis.
