The Degrade 9.8” x 41” complete is a full setup for versatile riders with a penchant for slides and tricks. As always with Long Island you’re getting amazing value for money on a board built with quality components that would even make pros jealous.

Riding Style

This is a seriously universal board. Originally designed for freestyle and freeride, the Degrade also kills it as a cruiser or just as a general mode of transport.

Flex

A light flex paired with camber -the way the board bends upwards - makes for a soft ride and allows for longer carves and athletic pumping.

Shape

The symmetrical shape means there’s no difference between nose and tail, both of which are slightly raised for rapid turns, tricks and well controlled slides. Light concave keeps you on your board. Drop through truck mounting keeps your deck nice and low to the ground for better board control. The deck is 9.8” wide and 41” long.

Construction

Classic 7-ply American maple construction guarantees stability at a light weight. Boards have been built this way since the 70’s and for good reason.

Setup

Long Island Skateboards have made no compromises with this setup. Pre-mounted 180 mm wide, reverse kingpin Bear Grizzly Trucks are some of the best on the market. Soft 83A, 71mm wheels are quick and make light work of uneven surfaces as well as small stones, gliding over even the roughest of surfaces. They also love to slide. Precise ABEC7 bearings guarantee a long lifetime of high speeds.
