Vans Hi-Standard OG (Public) 2022 Snowboard cevlji

I was looking for a laced snowboard boot, mainly because of its simplicity and reliability - no more sophisticated speed-lacing systems that have failed me twice before. The simple and beautiful design of the Vans boot caught my attention, and after trying size 46 (I have sneaker size 45), they seemed to fit my feet very nicely.

I took these boots for a week of snowboarding in the Alps, and I fell in love with them. Although the Vans High Standards are officially recommended for the riding style "Freestyle", I've used them in various conditions: carving, freestyle and off-piste freeriding. The boots are very flexible, which means they won't offer a ton of support while carving at high speeds. However, in my opinion they gave me just enough support, because I have a casual & relaxed riding style. They are very forgiving; I've had zero instances of cramps or annoying pressure points.

In conclusion, these are very comfortable boots for a reasonable price. I would especially recommend these for beginner and intermediate riders who just want a reliable pair of boots to ride down the mountains comfortably. And, last but not least: they look very cool :)
