The core snowboard boot

The Encore is a soft flexing snowboard boot by Vans, with a Boa Coiler system which allows for rapid tightening and releasing of your boots. The good price-performance ratio with a reliable, lightweight construction together makes a perfect boot for riders who want to improve their freestyle skills all over the mountain. The Instep Flex zones and the Flex liner will make your boot feel comfortable right out the box, no awkward break-in period.

Outer boot
The heat retention layer between the outsole and liner will keep warmth inside and cold outside of the boot. An internal web harness will keep your liner tight around the feet for a locked feel. Instep Flex zones help when putting your boots on and will give you a broken in, comfortable feel right from the start.

Liner
The Flex Liner features a dual density, heat moldable core while the closed seam brushed fleece cuff with UltraCush™ Lite interior cushioning layer will keep your feet cosy in all conditions. The V2 footbed offers a 3D-molded anatomical shape that features a dual-density Ultracush construction with forefoot and heel impact absorption. Additional Airflow perforations ensure air circulation inside the Liner.

Reverse Waffle Outsole
This outsole is made out of a special recipe single rubber cup for the best board feel while keeping the footprint as small as possible to avoid heel- and toe drags. The special recipe rubber compound material features improved all-condition traction and grip. With oversized waffle tread patterns, Vans increases the traction, impact, and shock absorption and features optimal snow release capabilities.

Lacing System
The BOA Coiler platform is unbeatable, it is fast, super strong and offers micro-adjustability for dialling in the perfect balance between flex and support. This system allows you to tighten the upper and lower zones of the boot wit one coiler spool. This results in a secure and consistent fit throughout the boot with a greater hold in the heel pocket for an overall more comfortable feel.
