Influenced by all the new shapes in surfing, Nitro has decided to create a new splitboard with a 3D moulded shape and reinforced edges for more support and durability. The Slash's 3D-moulded Powercore II creates a surf-like feel as you glide down untracked slopes. The Trüe Camber and the Tapered Directional Shape offer stability for difficult situations.

Riding style
A freeride/all-mountain spliboard for advanced riders - this board offers performance and stability for deep turns off-piste. The focus of the Slash is clearly to offer you an unforgettable descent. 

Shape
The tapered directional shape is perfect for all-mountain and freeriding. The nose is slightly wider than the tail for controlled turns in any terrain. The offset of the bindings in the direction of the tail (setback) makes the nose a little longer for even more uplift in powder. 

Profile
The Trüe Camber profile consists of only a single positive camber from nose to tail. This profile offers high stability, good edge control and plenty of pop. In addition, the Slash Split comes with a drawn-out, 3-dimensionally moulded Spoon Nose which ensures endless lift in deep now and keeps the board agile and secure, while the concave groove in the tail offers more acceleration and edge grip.

Flex
The medium-stiff flex ensures precise control and fast board response.

Construction
The Powercore II is a poplar wood core with beech wood stringers for unmatched stability, smooth response and incredible pop. Bi-Lite laminate improves board feel and increases snap. The Sintered Speed Formula HD Base has succeeded in reducing wear, increasing wax absorption and achieving higher speed on snow.
Once you reach the summit, you can switch from hike to ride mode very quickly. This snowboard comes with pre-drilled holes for the Nitro X Kohla skins, for even easier handling.
