The original skateboard shape of Marty McFly from 'Back to the Future'

The shape of the Marty Cruiser is based on the Marty McFly Madrid x Valterra skateboard that Madrid made for the 1985 sci-fi movie classic 'Back to the Future' and pays homage to the pool skaters of the 80s.

O znamki Madrid

Jerry Madrid started building skateboards in the wild 60s. In the garage of his parent's house in Southern California - of course. His drive was to make a board that he could use to surf the streets when the waves weren't surfable. His shapes were innovative, and it quickly became apparent that these skateboards were very special. Fun Fact: Marty Mcfly's skateboard in "Back to the Future" was designed by the genius Jerry Madrid.
