Anthony Van Engelen is a fixed figure in the street skating scene since 1999. Among other things, he won the highly regarded 'Skater of the Year Award' from Trasher Skateboard Magazine in 2015 and is now honored with his signature Independent truck in trusted 159 Stage 11 geometry.
The design features a matte gray powder coated finish with his AVE logo in old English style and silver hardware.
As one of the leading manufacturers of skateboard trucks since 1978, Independent has always been characterized by a highly qualitative and, above all, long-lasting design. The standard height of 55mm reduces the risk of wheelbite and the slightly lowered kingpin prevents to get stuck on difficult grinds. An axle pin made of 4140 ChroMoly steel with a Grade 8 steel Kingpin make the construction almost indestructible.
