The next evolution of the innovative JetForce technology is used in Black Diamond's now even smaller and lighter JetForce Pro avalanche airbag system with PIEPS technology.
The revolutionary JetForce technology is rechargeable and travel-friendly. It can be deployed several times, has an automatic emptying function to create an air space and automatically performs a self-diagnosis at each system startup. The new, even more compact system has been moved down a little in the backpack to improve the backpack's centre of gravity when carrying. With the new Bluetooth interface you can update the software and make settings directly via the PIEPS app on your smartphone.
The functional 35-litre backpack has an additional compartment especially designed for avalanche equipment and generous storage space for clothing, drinks and accessories. The system has a modular design, so that a backpack with either 10 or 25 litres or a splitboard booster backpack with 25 litres can also be attached. In this way, the JetForce system offers incredible versatility. With the ice tool holder and the stowable ski attachment system, the airbag can even deploy when skis are attached to the backpack.
The release mechanism, which is equipped with status indicators, can be changed from the right to the left strap and adjusted to the desired height as desired. The leg loop on the hip belt also has a new design - it is now stowable and has a carabiner clip for quick attachment to the hip belt.
