Winter is just around the next corner. Something's happening this fall and we are more than excited! After last year success, SnowFest is coming back this year with a total of three tour stopps across europe. This is a full celebration of winter sports action with free entry. Sporting highlights are the legendary Rock A Rail Snowboard contest and the DownTown Street Ski session that attract the best snowboarders and freeskiers around the globe. But let's not forget the great winter sports village that includes fun and interactive activations by brands, partners and federations. Blue Tomato will also be on site so see you there at one of the following three tour stopps:
Winter Sports Village
Winter sports for the whole family - Local sports clubs, associations, brands and partners present their sports on three consecutive days. To inform, try out and get to know different winter sports. Whether on the snow, on the mat or on the simulator. SnowFest is for all generations. While the little ones are in good hands for their first attempts on the board at the Burton Riglet snowboard programme, the older kids venture over the K1 ski jump or try out what it feels like to sit in a real bobsleigh. Also don't miss out on the Blue Tomato activation: We'll be at all three SnowFest Winter Sports Villages with three different activations full of fun, goodies, prices to win and educational topics. Rock A Rail & DownTown StreetSki
Freestyle Action in every possible way - The 37 m long, 17 m wide and over 10 m high scaffolding with a unique urban set-up is located directly in front of the Tiroler Landestheater. Progressive rail features offer a creative "playground" for freestylers from all around the world. On Friday, the snowboarders take the stage at the Rock A Rail Snowboard contest. Rock A Rail has a longlasting history within the freestyle snowboarding scene and is THE venue for competitive rail snowboarding. The riders field is highly international and could not be any better. Stay tuned for the most creative and gnarly tricks you've ever seen! On Saturday the freeskiers take over and unpack their most creative tricks at the DownTown Street Ski contest.
