Equally inspired by the terrain-transition riding of Vans snow team rider Sam Taxwood and the Hank Williams, Jr. classic outlaw country song “Whiskey Bent and Hell Bound”, the all-new, ground-up build of the Hi-Country & Hell-Bound snowboard boot is designed to help you take your lace closure-preferred shred game to the next level.
Complete with a Vans x The North Face V3 UltraCush FlashDry liner, a V3 POPCUSH footbed, a V3 UltimateWaffle outsole, the Vans Flex Control System for custom flex tuning, a waterproof zipper shroud + D-ring, and one-way, breathable valves to help control temperature and moisture inside your boot, the Hi-Country will not only get you there, but take you further. The Hell-Bound part, well, that’s up to you.

Outer Boot
The Flex Control System allows you to customize the stiffness of the tongue to your wishes. Two tabs are located on the inside of the tongue to attach optional Tongue Stiffeners made from Hytrel® material. The V3 UltimateWaffle outsole features the best technology by Vans and the widest range of versatility.  From stomping big landings to side-hilling a hike.

Liner
The V3 Ultracush with TNF Flashdry Liner is a heat-moldable inner boot and features an UltraCush interior layer for premium cushioning. The FlashDry material by The North Face keeps your feet dry and the updated X-Cage design offers superior heel hold. The V3 Popcush footbed comes with an OrthoLite® foam top layer and an advanced 3D-moulded anatomical shape. The Nylex top sheet with airflow perforations provides a comfortable climate in the boot.

Lacing System
The boot comes with traditional lacing and a powercuff strap. A velcro strap on the shaft, which provides a bomb-proof hold.
