With the Slash Vertical Split you have a splitboard under your feet that is packed with the finest technology to help you shred steep, deep and challenging lines in difficult backcountry terrain. The 3D nose in combination with an additional set of float inserts increases buoyancy in powder when it comes to riding to the limit. Features like the S-Line Touring Edges make even difficult crossings child's play. The light overall weight is to your advantage on the ascent.

Riding style
A splitboard for experienced touring and freeride adventurers. This board offers the necessary features for ascending untouched terrain. The shape and profile have been specially tuned for best downhill performance - good edge hold and plenty of floatation for deep snow.

Shape 
With the Directional Shape the nose is slightly longer and wider than the tail. The bindings are slightly offset to the back (set back). This increases the stability at higher speeds and the lift in powder. The subtle Ultimate Traction Bump in the centre of the sidecut provides better grip on hard snow.

Profile
The traditional Camber profile consists of only one positive camber from nose to tail. This profile offers high stability, good edge control and plenty of pop. However, camber boards tend to catch edge more easily than other profiles.

Flex
The medium flex (7/10) provides a precise feel and control.

Construction
The Pop Woodcore is made of poplar wood and reinforced with beech stringers. This ensures a low weight, a smooth flex and good power transmission. The sintered base is an industry standard for high-quality surfaces. It offers a good balance between the speed achieved by a hard surface and good wax adhesion. Landing strips made of Kevlar and carbon from the insert to the tip or tail help you with landings, give you control at high speeds and have a cushioning effect. S-Line Split is a slightly serrated edge on the inside. It minimises shear forces on descents and provides more grip on icy climbs.
