Opis produktu
The best directional freestyle stick for larger gentlemen - the Skunk Ape by Lib Tech
Big guys need light set ups: Their snowboards are always big, wide and long so a light construction makes a big difference in every terrain. That's why Lib Tech uses the super lightweight Horsepower construction at the Skunk Ape, for the best possible strength-to-weight ratio. The most important thing, however, is that toe and heel drag of even the largest boots becomes a thing of the past.
Riding Style
This extra wide board is suited for large riders who want to bring their freestyle riding to the whole mountain. The directional twin shape offers more float in the powder while the lightweight construction supports your freestyle park riding.
Shape
This directional twin provides you with some extra float in the powder and excellent switch riding capabilities. Due to the setback of the bindings towards the tail, the nose gets a little bit longer. However, the nose and the tail are equally wide, so landing switch is no problem. The Magne-Traction® serrated edges give great edge hold all over the mountain, especially on hard pack and ice.
Profile
C2 means rocker between the bindings combined with radial cambers under the bindings. This combination offers good edge hold thanks to the camber underfoot, as well as great float in powder and unlimited freestyle action without hang-ups thanks to the rocker.
Flex
The medium-stiff flex provides you with a lively board that allows you to stay in control at all speeds and pop over everything.
Construction
The Horsepower Construction is the first upgrade in Lib Techs constructions. The Core consists of 60% aspen and 40% paulownia, giving you a strong and light core with a crisp pop. Bi-ax and Tri-Ax Glass as well as Basalt Alloy surround the wood core and add the needed stiffness and durability. Birch Internal Sidewalls are placed along the sidewall of your board to add board control to the sandwich construction. Stronger, more pop, and more control. The Eco Subliminated TNT is fast and easy to maintain. The UHMW Sintered Sidewalls are a Lib Tech innovation. Twice as sintered as any other sidewalls, tough, fast, hard, waterproof, handsome and light. NO TOXIC ABS! As edges do not go throughout at tip and tail, these areas are protected by a UHMW Tip/Tail Impact Deflection system to avoid damage. Finally, the Non Compis Mentis Textured Eco Sublimated Poly Topsheet features a tough and eco-sublimated layer to complete the construction.
This board is also available in 'Ultra Wide' version. These are wider than wide boards and developed especially for snowboarders with large feet to avoid too much overhang of the boots. Wider boards also give you better float in powder.

Snowboard są zazwyczaj dostarczane gotowe do jazdy z woskowaną podstawą i zaostrzonymi krawędziami. Jednak takie fabryczne przygotowanie nie jest zbyt trwałe, a nowy snowboard powinny zostać odpowiednio zawoskowane po kilku dniach i regularnie konserwowane.
