Outer boot
Shrinkage® technology reduces the overall footprint of the boots by a whole size. The tongues of all Burton boots have an inner reinforcement that completely seals the lower part of the boot, keeping your feet warm and dry. The firm and flexing 1:1 PowerUp Tongue provides increased response with great rebound and durability. Thanks to ultra-strong cushioning B3 gel inserts, not a hint of cushioning is lost. The AutoCANT outsole combined with the EST® optimised midsole allow the foot to adopt a natural, relaxed position. This results in more comfort, less fatigue and smooth, direct board control. Insulating Sleeping Bag technology, a flat, lightweight underfoot technology reflects heat and keeps feet warm in all conditions.
 
Liner
The Life Liner combines lightweight materials and relaxed comfort. The responsive PU tongue construction provides speed, offers long-term resistance to material fatigue and adapts better to different foot shapes. The breathable DRYRIDE Heat Cycle® lining uses interwoven, thermo-active carbon threads to trap, radiate and reflect body heat inwards. An ankle support and a stable inner cuff are essential for pro-level boots. Burton's solution is called Tuff Cuff. This increases heel hold, supports the ankle medially and laterally and offers free flex from the toes to the heel.

Lacing system
The Dual Zone High Power Focus BOA® lacing uses the H3+ Coiler twist closure with Coiler technology. The 4:1 gear ratio and rubberised edging make it easy to adjust the ideal fit with four effortless turns. TX3 is a flexible and low-friction textile rope. Soft, modern aesthetics combined with the strength of Dyneema.
