Armada Arw 106mm UL 164 2023 Skis
The ultra-light version of the ultimate all-rounder
The ARW 106 UL is an all-round ski for the shredder who likes to roam all over the mountain. The Caruba core makes the ski very light and lowers the swing weight - ideal for airs in the park or for tours in untouched terrain. The Smear Tech 3D Base bevel in the tip and tail lets you float effortlessly through powder while offering a surf-like feel.
Riding style
All-mountain freestyle/park ski for the advanced shredder. The versatile twin tip shape combined with a hybrid camber profile makes this ski perfect for freestyle riding in any terrain. No matter if park, slope or backcountry, you can ride it just anywhere.
Shape
This ski comes with a Directional Twin shape, the nose is a few millimetres wider than the tail, with a central binding position. Thus the ski offers you the same skiing characteristics forward and switch. However, thanks to the slightly wider nose you get a little more uplift in fresh snow.
Profile
This ski comes with a classic Camber under the binding and a Rocker in the nose and tail. This profile is perfect for any terrain. Precision and pop for park and slope, good uplift in soft snow. The Rocker in the nose and tail also creates an additional, loose, tilt-free riding experience. Just like the shape of a spoon, Smear Tech 3-D Base technology lifts the contact points on the nose and tail off the snow to prevent catching edge and increase uplift in pow.
Flex
The medium-stiff flex ensures precise control and fast ski response.
Construction
The AR75 sidewall construction comes with a cap construction in tip and tail and with a sidewall under the binding. The cap construction in tip and tail reduces the swing weight, while the sidewall makes the ski more robust. The Caruba woodcore combines Armada's lightest woods for minimal weight on the ascent, while retaining the power and cushioning needed for descending the toughest terrain. The S7 base is robust and low maintenance and comes with a speed additive for more speed.
