Outer Boot

The Shrinkage™ Footprint Reduction Technology reduces the boot’s overall footprint in one full size, meaning men’s size 10 fits like a size 10 but has the footprint of a typical size 9. Shorter, lighter, sleeker - never suffer from toe drag again. All Burton boot tongues feature a snow-proof internal gusset construction to completely seal the lower zone of the boot, keeping feet warm and dry. The 1:1 Medium Flex PowerUP Tongue ensures greater rebound and durability.
 EST® goes beyond bindings by optimizing the soles on select boots for a more direct connection. Lower-profile, lighter weight, and with a reduced ramp angle, the EST Midsole lowers your centre of gravity and improves feel. All without sacrificing an ounce of cushioning thanks to ultra-dampening B3 Gel inserts. B3 Gel is the ultimate dampening that’s formulated to withstand repeated impacts without breaking down or hardening up in cold temps.

Inner Boot
The heat-moldable Imprint™ 2 Liner features 3M™ Thinsulate™. With 3M™, Burton found a progressive solution through a blend of 3M™ Thinsulate™ — an insulation constructed from unique, high-loft microfibers for increased warmth with less bulk. Breathable, water-resistant and durable. This super low-profile Lock-Up Cuff carries the laces across the forefoot and ankle for ultimate heel hold with effortless entry and exit. Man Fur on men's boot liners keeps you warm and comfortable all day long.
 
Lacing System
The Ruler Boa® boots feature Dual Zone Boa® System and the virtually indestructible, warrantied for life performance of Burton‑exclusive New England Rope laces. Built with a redesigned inner Coiler spool to route the laces, the dial‑it‑in system retains its quick, easy, and effective lace adjustment. Natural fibre ropes equal a more natural flex and feel for greater all‑day comfort. The dual-zone set‑up quickly loosens or tightens with simple twists of the Boa® dial.
