The hollow Kingpin makes each truck lighter than any standard truck. This is noticeable especially at Flip Tricks because you can save a lot of energy due to the reduced weight.
The Hi construction means less wheelbites, since the distance between the wheel and the deck is subtly greater than other comparatively low truck. This allows tricks to be stomped more forgiving, and larger wheel diameters also work without problems.

The width of the trucks should match the deck width. The skate truck is specified with either the hanger width or the truck width.
