The Union Expedition FC is over 70g lighter than the traditional Expedition binding thanks to a Union exclusive Forged Carbon heelcup. Allowing you to tour further, faster and with less fatigue. The Union Split System is not only simple to use, but the unique connection between binding and board also maintains the torsional strength and natural flex of your splitboard.

Split Pin System
The Union Split System is simple and very quick to operate. To switch to Ride-Mode, simply place the binding on the mounted disc on the board, insert the long pin under the baseplate and you're done. To change to Walk-Mode, pull out the pin, place the binding on the touring brackets and push the pin back in.

Highback
The EXP2 Highback was designed specifically for splitboarding. It features an adjustable quick-snap forward lean adjuster that goes from tour to riding mode with the flick of your fingers.​

Baseplate 
Blended with carbon fibre, Duraflex CB is lighter and considerably stiffer than typical fibreglass-injected nylon parts. The Forged Carbon Heelcup is extremely lightweight, stiff and delivers incredible response. Forged carbon offers an unmatched strength-to-weight ratio. The footbed features a special Non-Stick™ coating. Gone are the days of getting ice buildup on your footbeds and highbacks.

Straps
Strength and instant response on the outside, fit and comfort on the inside - the ExoFrame ankle strap provides the ultimate connection between rider and board. The thermoplastic anti-slip material of the extra-wide TS-3.0 toe straps keeps you locked in and on point. The straps come with super strong magnesium buckles.
