New and sustainable - the K2 Bond
The Bond is new to the K2 line and was developed with riders like Gabe Ferguson, Parker Szumowski and Antti Jussila. Not only is it lightweight and flexible, but K2 also uses new technologies and materials to reduce the environmental footprint of this binding significantly.
Highback
The Team FR1 highback, made from rhizinus beans, reduces CO2 emissions per kilogram by around 40 % compared to a nylon highback. In addition, this highback offers enough flex to add style to your tricks in the park.
Baseplate
The Module™ chassis is brand new and made from a fibreglass and nylon blend. This guarantees a comfortable flex and vibration dampening.
The EVA shockpads made from sugar cane not only offer the best damping but also reduce CO2 emissions per kilogram by about 90 % compared to traditional EVA. In addition, the This Grips™ Basepad provides even more vibration-dampening and a comfortable ride.
Straps
The new ankle and toe straps are made mainly of Castor beans, keeping you safe and, above all, sustainable in your bindings.
