Enter a new dimension of floatation and freedom on a board that defies convention by blending a powerful nose with a playful tail. The new Burton Family Tree Working Stiff is made for ripping everything, from the groomers to the backcountry. Its directional shape with a 20 mm taper concentrates the pop in the tail and offers you a lot of float in deep snow, as long as some extra stability at speed. Stability and control of this freeride board are enhanced also by its directional camber and flex. One of the biggest innovations of the Working Stiff is the Burton ReRez® almost zero-waste manufacturing process: the scraps leftover from shaping are deconstructed, sorted and returned to the recycling stream to be reused in other products.

Riding Style
The Family Tree Working Stiff is a responsive board made for charging lines on the groomers or in the backcountry, with a lot of floatation and freedom.

Shape
The Directional Shape is the classic snowboard shape, designed to be ridden with a slightly longer nose than tail to concentrate pop in the tail while still giving you plenty of float, flow and control to rip any terrain or condition. A tapered shape mean the nose is wider than the tail, promoting smooth turn entry and exit, stability at speed and enhanced deep snow floatation. 
Made for those riders who want a more flexible board without sacrificing performance, the Filet-O-Flex Swallow Tail features an ultra-thin profiling that creates soft boards that rip with maximum stability, durability and grip. An additional benefit is a subtle suspension and underfoot padding.

Profile
The Directional Camber features an entry rocker that causes the nose to lift, while the camber under both feet maintains momentum and stability through deep-driving turns and variable conditions.

Flex
The Directional Flex ensures increased pop in the tail and a more resilient nose that allows riders to easily maintain control through all terrain and conditions.

Construction
The Working Stiff unveils Burton's almost zero waste manufacturing process thanks to a material deconstruction called ReRez®. Simply put, it allows Burton to deconstruct the scrap leftover from shaping, sort them and then return the materials to the recycling stream to be re-used in other products.
Lightened up and loaded with pop, the FSC™ CERTIFIED SUPER FLY II™ 700G CORE features stronger and lighter woods that target specific areas of the core to provide pop, strength and reduced weight. Additionally, in the DUALZONE™ EGD™ design, the wood grain is positioned along the toe and heel edges on two continuous zones, perpendicular to the rest of the wood core, for consistent edge-hold and added strength. In the Sintered WFO Base, a specially formulated wax is infused deep into the pores of this extra-absorbent, high-density sintered material resulting in an ultra durable base that stays Wide F!#@ing Open all season, in any condition.
The TRIAX™ FIBERGLASS delivers a versatile flex and response for everything from mini to mega shred. The Burton-exclusive INFINITE RIDE™ technology allows Burton to maximise pop and strength by overbuilding the board, then putting it in a machine that breaks in the board for you.
