The Ascent 28 S Avabag Kit Backpack is an airbag backpack that has been designed especially for women. The ski touring backpack has a significantly shorter back system than regular backpacks, as well as hip and shoulder straps that are adapted to the female anatomy. The AVABAG airbag system built into the backpack is extremely light at 690 g and sensationally compact. Also unique to this system is the deployment training, which allows the deployment to be trained again and again without the cartridge being screwed in, and the ergonomically optimised deployment handle, which can be gripped perfectly with both the left and right hand.      
In terms of features, this avalanche backpack is in no way inferior to its big brother, the Ascent 30 Avabag. From a separate safety compartment to a circumferential zip, hydration system preparation, ice axe and rope attachment to diagonal ski attachment, everything you need for a long ski tour is included! This ski touring backpack is also suitable for men with short backs.
Don't worry: the avalanche backpack is also available in neutral colours.

AVABAG System
This is an extremely light and sensationally compact airbag system.
You enjoy unlimited release training with it (without a cartridge).
The handle can be gripped with any type of glove and is suitable for left- and right-handers.
The AVABAG system is removable and compatible with all Ortovox AVABAG backpacks.
