Influenced by all the new shapes in surfing, Nitro has decided to create this new snow surfboard, with a 3D contoured shape, and reinforced edge for added support and durability. The 3D machined Balsa Core of the Slash creates a surf like feel when you are navigating your way down untracked pow fields. The Cam-Out camber and tapered directional Shape provide the stability you need for tricky situations.

Riding Style
A freeride/all-mountain carving board for advanced riders - this board offers performance and stability for deep turns on and off-piste. The tapered directional shape offers great float in powder.

Shape
A Tapered Directional board is the best for all-mountain freeriding. The nose is a bit wider than the tail, giving you plenty of control in any terrain. The stance is set back towards the tail, increasing the length of the nose. This helps you to float above the pow.

Profile
Nitro's Cam-Out Camber is basically a traditional Camber profile with early and smooth transitions into Tip and Tail. The result is a fun and responsive board that turns on the spot and is forgiving.

Flex
The medium-stiff flex provides you with a lively board that allows you to stay in control at all speeds and pop over everything. 

Construction
The 3D Balsa Core is precision machined to a 3D shape. The result is a lightweight board which is sleek looking and reinforced in the important edge and insert areas. The Sintered Speed Formula HD Base offers higher abrasion resistance, increased wax absorption and higher on-snow speeds.
