All-mountain ski with carbon and rubber reinforcements 

The all-new Faction Studio 1X is an all-mountain ski inspired by the best in the business. Faction athletes have worked with the developers to create a ski that acts with precision and still gets you down the valley playfully. 
Featuring a poplar core for just the right amount of pop, carbon and rubber reinforcement under the binding to withstand heavy stomps, a carbon weave for torsional strength without adding bulk, a symmetrical shape for effortless switch skiing and a 7 mm XL sidewall for excellent edge hold and protection of the woodcore.

Riding style
This ski is designed for riders who want to shred the whole resort. Piste, park and powder - the Studio 1X does it all.

Shape
The Studio 1X comes with a symmetrical twin shape with centred binding mount. It drives forward and switch exactly the same. 

Profile
This ski comes with a classic Camber under the binding and an even Rocker in nose and tail. This profile is perfect for any terrain. Precision and pop for park and slope, good uplift in soft snow. The Rocker in the nose and tail also creates an additional, loose, tilt-free riding experience.

Flex
The harder flex ensures absolute stability at high speeds, best edge hold and lots of support for difficult landings.

Construction
The poplar woodcore offers good pop and flex as well as excellent vibration dampening. It also has enough torsional flex for impressive grip on the descent. The Carbon/Rubber Stomp Pad is a reinforcement made of carbon and rubber under the binding. It protects the woodcore from strong impacts and absorbs vibrations. Faction uses a more sustainable approach with this ski.
