Product description
Backcountry Freestyle at its best - with the CPT Achab from West Snowboards, the backcountry becomes a snowpark
Want to ride deep snow and float in control without compromising on the ability to pull some tricks or ride switch? Then this is your board. The Wide Directional Twin Shape and the rocker in nose and tail offer incredible float in the powder. The narrow radius also makes the board great for fast carving turns on the piste.
Riding Style
Backcountry freestyle for advanced level riders - Do you consider untouched powder-lines as a snowpark with unlimited possibilities? Then this board is the right choice for you.
Shape
This directional twin will provide you with some extra float in the deep fluffy stuff while still providing excellent switch riding capabilities. Due to the setback of the bindings towards the tail, the nose gets a little bit longer, while the shape of the nose and tail is still symmetric.
Profile
The Camrock profile combines an evenly balanced tip and tail rocker with camber between the bindings. This profile improves freestyle finesse by keeping your tips playful while maintaining the power and pop of camber underfoot.
Flex
The medium-stiff flex provides you with a lively board that allows you to stay in control at all speeds and pop over everything.
Construction
The poplar-beech wood core is the perfect harmony of different wood densities and wood species (poplar and beech) which lightens the core and results in a superior weight-to-performance-to power ratio. The 90° biax fibreglass offers a forgiving response throughout your ride and a predictable torsional flex. The NHS "Nano High Speed" base gives you the speed you need to stay out of the slough with higher density and better resistance to abrasion. Cross-shaped carbon stringers in nose and tail distribute the pressure under the bindings more effectively to the opposite contact points for better edge grip and a more direct riding feel.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
