Product description
The freestyle ski for deepest powder
The Völkl Revolt 121 comes with a massive 121 mm waist for maximum lift in deep pow. The subtle camber combined with a large tip and tail rocker makes the ski playful yet stable enough for fast lines in steep terrain. An incredibly versatile freeride ski for butter tricks and kickers in the backcountry.
Riding style
A freestyle/powder ski for advanced riders. Shape, design, profile and construction have been specially tuned to deliver the best performance in powder. At the same time, it is still playful enough for freestyle riding in the backcountry, no matter if high cliffs, kickers and switch landings in powder.
Shape
This ski comes with a directional twin shape, the nose is a few millimetres wider than the tail with a central binding position. Thus, the ski offers the same riding characteristics forward and switch. However, due to the slightly wider nose, you get a bit more float in soft snow. The 3D Radius Sidecut combines three different radii, which create the sidecut. The wide radius in tip and tail is ideal for long turns at high speed. The narrow radius under the binding allows for tight turns at moderate speeds.
Profile
This ski features a classic camber under the binding and a rocker in the nose and tail areas. This keeps the ski extremely manoeuvrable in powder and gives it an enormous uplift. The camber offers you good edge hold, pop and fast power transmission.
Construction
The multi-layer wood core consists of beech and poplar for an extremely resilient pole wood core. Consists of hardwood in the binding area and slightly lighter wood in the remaining area. P-Tex 3000 Base is a sintered, high-molecular polyethylene base with excellent gliding properties and high resistance.

Freeskis are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new skis should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
