Product description
The Völkl Bash 89 is one of the most versatile freestyle skis for the whole mountain - park, powder and piste
The Bash 89 features tip and tail rocker and a directional shape. Bolstered by a Multi-Layer wood core, carbon stringers and Völkl's bomber tough box construction. This very manoeuvrable ski feels at home in the pipe and park as well as on the slopes.
Riding Style
All-mountain freestyle/park ski for intermediate to advanced level skiers. This ski comes with all the features you need as an ambitious park rider. The directional shape makes this ski also very versatile, perfect for freestyle riding anywhere on the whole mountain.
Shape
The nose of the directional shape is slightly wider than the tail. The binding and the sidecut are slightly set back towards the tail. This increases stability at higher speeds and the float in soft snow.
Profile
This Ski comes with a classic camber under the binding and an even rocker in nose and tail. This profile is perfect for any terrain. Precision and pop for park and groomers, good float in soft snow. The rocker in the nose and tail also creates a catch-free, loose feeling.
Construction
The multi-layer wood core is made of beech and poplar for an extremely durable core. Consisting of hardwood in the binding area and some lighter wood around it. An additional carbon stringer in the ski ensures direct power transmission and agile handling. The P-Tex 2000 base is a sintered high molecular polyethene base with great gliding characteristics and high durability.

Freeskis are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new skis should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
