    Product description

    The legend lives on

Tom Sims’ legend lives on with the Tom Sims Pro. The graphic was created in Tom’s honour, featuring a directional shape with Micro Camber. Micro Early Rise is added in the nose for quicker response and improved float in powder. Quad Carbon X laminates found in the nose and tail adds control with laid out, old school carves just like Tom used to rip.

    Riding Style
All-mountain freeride. It loves deep powder runs but never complains about riding anywhere else. Just like Tom.

    Shape
Directional is the classic snowboard shape, designed to be ridden with a slightly longer nose than tail to concentrate pop in the tail while still giving you plenty of float, flow, and control to rip any terrain or condition. The Vario Power Grip Sidecut utilises multiple radii creating extra contact points to enhance edge hold.

    Profile
The profile features an underfoot camber with a micro early rise in the nose. The float of the rockered nose improves manoeuvrability while the camber underfoot provides edge hold and response.

    Flex
The flex is medium/firm, this gives the board a balanced feel. It’s hard enough to stay in control on hard charged mountain lines or bigger kickers, but it still has enough flex for advanced buttering.

    Construction
Quad Carbon X laminates found in the nose and tail add control, maximum boost, and pop. The Durasurf Sintered 4501 is the fastest base Sims ever used, prepare for takeoff! Bi-Lite Fiberglass combines many of the strength characteristics of STS fibreglass with an ultra light glass fibre matrix. This delivers incredible freestyle and freeride performance without sacrificing durability. The lightweight RDS 2 Damping System uses three narrower laminated damping layers that provide the perfect combination of vibration absorption and stability. Elastomeric Underfoot Stabilizers directly below the mounting area provide optimum vibration absorption and increase high-speed stability while reducing foot fatigue.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
