    Product description

One of the most popular park/jib boards in the Salomon lineup

Crafted under the watchful eye of Louif Paradis the Villain Snowboard has become one of the most popular boards in the line for good reason. A new shape and some technical upgrades like Quadralizer side cuts and Popster core profile offer the perfect balance of flex and response, while the Slingshot Sidewall puts the power underfoot where Lou needs it.

    Riding Style
Freestyle - From rails and kickers in the park and booters in the backcountry to street rails at night. This is gonna be the right choice.

    Shape
Freestyle specific True Twin: Identical tip/tail lengths and shapes, symmetrical core profiling, flex and a centred binding stance. Spin, stomp, and butter with a greater balance of freestyle mobility and cat-like stability no matter which way you point it. The Quadralizer sidecut is an explosive combination of Equalizer and Quadratic sidecuts, which allows high-speed carving and offers superior edge control in tight spots.

    Profile
The Rock Out Camber features a flat section between your bindings for stability, camber near the feet for response and a rocker on the tip/tail for press ability.

    Flex
Happy in the medium, perfect for shredding everything, stable enough to go fast and big, yet flexible enough to press and butter.

    Construction
The Sintered Base is engineered for a super fast glide in everything from fresh pow to sticky spring snow. Sintered material provides superior wax retention, Gallium strengthens impact resistance and the Electra finish gives a turbocharged glide. TriaxGlass increases the board solidity and provides more response thanks to a stiffer structure. Maximise the natural snap and powerful pop of wood with Popster’s shaped core profile. Feels like your skateboard kicktail finally connected with your snowboard. At the Popster Booster, Salomon adds carbon stringers to the standard Popster and you get all the energy from under your feet radiating on the tip/tail maximising pop. At the Aspen SLCT core, every single FSC certified wood strip is hand selected to ensure unparalleled core quality and lightness. The Slingshot sidewalls feature Carbon inlays that help load and release energy which provides reactivity under the feet.  Freestyle Edge Bevel means detuning the tip and tail to a 2-degree edge holding tune throughout the key parts of the sidecut, back to a 3-degree bevel between the feet. This delivers the complete blend of edge hold and park shred.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
