The Patagonia Descensionist Pack 40L has all the features you'd expect from a long-distance backpack.
An easy-access avalanche gear pocket provides quick access to your gear in an emergency, while functional pockets are available for ice axes and other equipment.
The variable harness system allows you to attach your skis or snowboard in an A-shaped, vertical or diagonal position. This allows for adapting your load to the terrain and your preferences. If you don't need the system, you can remove it to save weight.
Adjust the volume for each tour with the practical roll-top closure to the exact size you need.
