Innovative Materials
Nike FlyLeather contains at least 50% recycled leather fibers for 100% performance. The material is produced in an innovative process that reduces carbon dioxide emissions compared to conventional leather production. The result is a high-performance leather material that is 40% lighter and five times more abrasion resistant than full-grain leather.
Sustainable Design
For the first time in Nike SB history, the tape between the midsole and the upper is made using Nike Grind material. Gum rubber is made using 3% of Nike Grind material. Rubber has been thinned out in crucial areas for a lightweight, broken-in feel right out of the box.
