Product description
DIRECTIONAL SKIING FOR THE AMBITIOUS YOUTH
With the Lib Tech Proteen, young riders can plough up the entire resort. This ski is a light directional all-mountain ripper that keeps the park and pipe in focus. The freestyle profile also adds a slice of versatility and playfulness to the pack. Of course, the Proteen comes with the patented Magne-Traction, for best edge hold.
Riding style
The Proteen makes the whole resort unsafe with you, but feels most comfortable in the park and the pipe.
Shape
With the directional shape, the nose is a little wider than the tail. The bindings and the sidecut are slightly set back towards the tail. This increases the stability at higher speeds and the uplift in powder. But since its shape is almost symmetrical, it also feels mega-comfortable on the switch.
Profile
This ski comes with a camber zone under the binding and a rocker area in the nose and tail. This keeps the ski extremely manoeuvrable and gives it an enormous uplift. This profile offers you good edge hold, pop and remains forgiving at the same time.
Construction
The Wood Core, made from sustainably sourced wood, provides a reliable and responsive ski with excellent pop. In addition, it makes the ski robust, durable and light. The UHMW sidewalls provide durability and shock absorption in any terrain and in all snow conditions. Triaxial and biaxial fibreglass provide fast response and extra pop. The hard, sintered base is ultra-fast and suitable for any terrain.

Freeskis are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new skis should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
