Product description
K2 Standard - perfect for snowboard beginners
Your first turns are dialed in, and now you want to take the next step on the snowboard without breaking the bank. The K2 Standard Snowboard is all about fast progression and fun on the slopes.
Riding Style
The Standard is the perfect all-mountain board for beginners. You have yet to determine where your strengths lie and what you enjoy the most. No problem, this one does it all.
Shape
The Directional Shape offers you a longer nose than the tail and, thus, a lot of stability at higher speeds and float in powder. The classic snowboard shape.
Profile
The beginner-friendly Directional Rocker profile with the Catch-Free™ tune provides cant-free turns. A slight rocker in the tip and tail makes for easy turn initiation and quick progression. Rounded edges at the contact points deliver additional protection against catching an edge.
Flex
The medium-soft flex is light and playful, making it ideal for beginners.
Construction
The Standard consists of a stable, durable Aspen solid wood core, Biax Glass, for added pop. The easy-care 2000 Extruded Base rounds this snowboard off perfectly.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
