    Product description

Deep snow, sidehits and the entire resort

The K2 Antidote is designed for deep snow, powder kickers, steep descents and a dose of freestyle along the way. To achieve this, K2 have developed the ideal balance of flex, width and sidecut and rounded it all off with technologies such as the K2 Carbon DarkWeb™, the new A1 Core, integrated SpaceGlass™ in the tip and tail and a Sintered 4001 Base. Full performance in the backcountry and on the slopes.

    Riding style
The Antidote is designed for powder, sidehits and natural freestyle features. A freeride board with a penchant for freestyle in any terrain.

    Shape
The Directional Twin shape gives you more lift in powder and excellent riding characteristics forward and switch. Due to the offset of the bindings in the direction of the tail (setback), the nose gets a little longer. However, the shape of nose and tail remains symmetrical. This geometry provides floatation in powder and stability at high speeds while you enjoy pure freestyle feeling.

    Profile
The traditional camber profile consists of one positive camber from nose to tail. This profile offers high stability, good edge control and plenty of pop. However, camber boards tend to catch edge more easily than other profiles.

    Flex
The medium flex is ideal for the all-mountain design of this board. Hard enough for powerful turns but still soft enough for a playful ride.

    Construction
The new A1 Core comes with a light, snappy blend of bamboo, aspen wood and paulownia. In addition, bamboo stringers under the bindings provide even more snap and pop. ICG™ 20 Triax Glass provides torsional stiffness and unparalleled edge hold. Carbon Darkweb™, a carbon layer increases energy transfer and provides more stability, even at high speeds - full control in every situation. SpaceGlass™ Tip & Tail comes from aerospace and, together with the recess3d topsheet, reduces the overall and swing weight of the snowboard. The Wax Infused Sintered 4001 Base absorbs the wax deep into the pores, is extremely fast and stays that way when you maintain it.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
