    Product description

AN ASYMMETRIC FREESTYLE BOARD FOR YOUNG RIDERS

Fun, easy to ride and packed with the best features for kids. The Recess offers an easy introduction to snowboarding. The board comes with a forgiving Hybrid Rocker profile and a poppy, eco-friendly construction, with a fast, low-maintenance base. The corrugated Magne Traction® edges provide effortless grip on ice and hard snow, while the asymmetric shape makes for easy turns on the heel edge.

    Riding style
A versatile all-mountain/freestyle board for beginners. This board does everything from park, piste and powder. The design supports kids in any terrain and is perfect for constantly improving skills as quickly as possible.

    Shape
The True Twin shape is perfectly symmetrical for a balanced ride that's equally versatile when ridden forward or switch. The asymmetrical shape makes for easier turns on the heel edge. The Magne-Traction® technology provides improved edge hold with serrated edges. Especially on icy slopes they unfold their full potential.

    Profile
The original Banana profile comes with a large rocker between the feet and a faint camber under the bindings. This makes it easy to ride, forgiving and offers good float in powder.

    Flex
The medium flex is playful and forgiving, while there is still enough pop to enable controlled freestyle moves.

    Construction
The G1 Lite construction is an environmentally friendly and durable construction design from Gnu. The core of aspen and paulownia wood is very light, sustainable, robust and poppy. Bi- and triaxial fibreglass surrounds the wood core and provides the necessary stiffness and durability. The Eco Sublimated PolyTopsheet is sustainably produced. The co-extruded base is hard, fast and virtually maintenance-free.

    More information

Subject to alterations according to the manufacturer. Image is non-binding.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.

    About Gnu

Gnu have been around since the birth of snowboarding, claiming weird, open minded experimentation to be their job. They have worked with mysterious materials, bizarre geometries, contours and board shapes, far out art and colors, odd terrain and freakish riders to create fantastic progressive snowboards that have helped take snowboarding to wild and magical places. A brand we are happy to call one of the family.
