    Product description

The freeride weapon from Forest Bailey

This pro model from Forest Bailey focuses on freeride and all-terrain. He comes from a skating background but as an East Coast local he is more than familiar with icy slopes and extensive carves and for that he uses the 4X4. The wide nose provides uplift in powder, while the C3 profile delivers a reactive yet playful ride.

    Riding style
All Terrain Freestyle for every day. Use this board for icy slopes, deep powder days and cruising in any terrain.

    Shape
The tapered directional shape is perfect for all-mountain and freeriding. The nose is slightly longer than the tail for controlled turns in any terrain. The offset of the bindings in the direction of the tail makes the nose a little longer for even more uplift in powder. The Magne-Traction® technology provides improved edge hold with serrated edges. Especially on icy slopes they unfold their full potential.

    Profile
The C3 profile is a classic camber profile with subtle rocker between the bindings. This provides precise edge control from nose to tail and maximum stability for high airs and landings. The mild rocker makes the board a bit more playful and offers more uplift than conventional camber profiles.

    Flex
The medium-stiff flex ensures precise control and fast board response.

    Construction
The G Lite 2 construction is environmentally friendly, robust and a lightweight construction design from Gnu. The core of aspen and paulownia wood is very light, sustainable, robust and poppy. Bi- and triaxial fibreglass surrounds the woodcore and provides the necessary stiffness and durability. The topsheet is made from eco-sublimated organic beans. The sintered base is very fast and stays that way if you take care of it.

    More information

Subject to alterations according to the manufacturer. Image is non-binding.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.

    About Gnu

Gnu have been around since the birth of snowboarding, claiming weird, open minded experimentation to be their job. They have worked with mysterious materials, bizarre geometries, contours and board shapes, far out art and colors, odd terrain and freakish riders to create fantastic progressive snowboards that have helped take snowboarding to wild and magical places. A brand we are happy to call one of the family.
