Indestructible park performance

The Prodigy 1X comes with the same shape as the Prodigy 2X, but is 10 mm narrower. This ensures precise control and the best edge hold in the park and on the piste. The construction is fully designed for hard use in the park. The poplar core is reinforced with robust ash wood, the anti-chip micro-cap construction protects against chipping in tip and tail and the XL 2.5 mm edges, are 20 % thicker than the industry average.

Riding Style
An all-mountain freestyle/park ski for advanced female riders. This ski comes with all the features you need in the park. It is very robust and designed for all features in the park: kickers, pipes, rails and boxes. Of course, it can also be used everywhere else on the mountain without any problems.

Shape
This ski comes with a Directional Twin shape, the nose is a few millimetres wider than the tail, with a central binding position. Thus the ski offers you the same skiing characteristics forward and switch. However, thanks to the slightly wider nose you get a little more uplift in the soft snow.

Profile
This ski comes with a classic Camber under the binding and an even Rocker in nose and tail. This profile is perfect for any terrain. Precision and pop for park and slope, good uplift in soft snow. The Rocker in the nose and tail also creates an additional, loose, tilt-free riding experience.

Flex
The medium-hard flex makes the ski hard enough for powerful turns, but still soft enough for a playful ride.

Construction
The poplar/ash core offers a vibration-free ride on hard snow, a solid base for difficult landings and more than enough pop and flex to get creative. The extra thick XL 2.5 mm edges are designed for hard use on rails, boxes and ledges. The micro-cap construction is a hybrid of a high-quality sandwich construction and a robust cap construction. This protects sensitive areas of the ski that may be prone to chipping.

Subject to alterations according to the manufacturer. Image is non-binding.

Freeskis are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new skis should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.

About Faction

Faction started out as a fun project for a group of shred happy ski bums in Verbier one winter. The group wanted to create skis that were affordable, could last 100+ days, survive without servicing and could be stowed away over summer and shine just as brightly once winter rolled around. Doing just that, they have seen great success over the last 12 years. They are united in their love for the mountains and the tools that allow them, us and you to escape there.
