    Product description

Lightweight, freestyle-oriented freeride ski - made from sustainable quality materials

The Mana 3, with 112 mm centre width, is a freestyle-oriented ski for all-mountain and backcountry riders. A sustainable core made of poplar wood together with the large rocker and minimal camber, result in a turn-friendly ski that guarantees good edge grip and stability at the same time. In addition, the Mana 3 scores with a robust, environmentally conscious construction, manufactured with 100 % renewable energy.

    Riding style
Backcountry freestyle for advanced riders - You consider the backcountry a snow park with unlimited possibilities? Then you've come to the right place with these skis.

    Shape
This ski comes with a Directional Twin shape, the nose is a few millimetres wider than the tail, with a central binding position. Thus the ski offers you the same skiing characteristics forward and switch. However, thanks to the slightly wider nose you get a little more uplift in the soft snow.

    Profile
This ski comes with a classic camber under the binding and a rocker in the tip and tail areas. This keeps the ski extremely manoeuvrable in powder and offers great uplift. The camber provides edge hold, pop and fast power transmission.

    Flex
With Boat Flex, the tip and tail are stiffer than the middle section of the ski. This absorbs vibrations better during landings and gives the ski more pop.

    Construction
The poplar woodcore offers good pop and flex as well as excellent vibration dampening. It also has enough torsional flex for impressive grip on the descent. The extra thick XL 2.5 mm edges are designed for hard use on rails, boxes and ledges. The micro-cap construction is a hybrid of a high-quality sandwich construction and a robust cap construction. This protects sensitive areas of the ski that may be prone to chipping. The Carbon/Rubber Stomp Pad is a reinforcement made of carbon and rubber under the binding. It protects the woodcore from strong impacts and absorbs vibrations.

    More information

Subject to alterations according to the manufacturer. Image is non-binding.

Freeskis are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new skis should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.

    About Faction

Faction started out as a fun project for a group of shred happy ski bums in Verbier one winter. The group wanted to create skis that were affordable, could last 100+ days, survive without servicing and could be stowed away over summer and shine just as brightly once winter rolled around. Doing just that, they have seen great success over the last 12 years. They are united in their love for the mountains and the tools that allow them, us and you to escape there.
