The new signature boot by Kevin Backstrom
With the goal of creating the ultimate all-terrain boot, DEELUXE have teamed up with Kevin Backstrom to create his new signature boot.
The Aeris comes with a Stage 3 liner and the Freestyle Tongue. The Double Back offers additional protection from binding abrasion and improves control and precision. For an exceptional board feel, the Aeris features DEELUXE's brand new Quantum sole.
The Aeris by DEELUXE changes one's view of what is possible on the mountain.
Outer boot
The Backbone and Double Back are reinforcements on the back of the boot. They provide durability, stability and regulate flex. The Freestyle Tongue provides a precise connection between the boot and binding, transmitting power effectively while improving damping. Sidekick Pro technology uses a high frequency welding process to fuse the lateral and medial reinforcing elements of the boot. This provides faster edge-to-edge transitions and better pop. The brand new Quantum sole provides an extra direct and responsive ride while offering strategic damping to dampen vibrations and absorb impact energy. In addition, the sole offers impressive traction.
Liner
The Stage 3 liner combines the best fit straight out of the box and can also be perfectly adapted to the contours of your foot through heat. For that extra portion of comfort, the toe section is made from a pleasantly stretchy 4-way stretch material. To maximise your performance, the liner is equipped with an external heel harness that gently wraps the foot and ankle area for unique heel support.
Lacing system
The two L3 lacing handles allow you to quickly and precisely adjust the lacing in the upper and lower zones of the boot. Simply pull the handles upwards, snap them into place and you're done. Full control and heel hold are guaranteed. With the BOA® M+2 System, you can adjust your heel hold to the millimetre and strap yourself into the boot bombproof if you want to.
