Product description
MINIMALIST AND LIGHT - THIS BINDING SETS NEW STANDARDS
The lightweight binding from Burton goes by the simple and straightforward name of X. As simple as the name, as minimalist the binding. Only the very best materials and technologies have been used in this flyweight to set new standards in bindings. A high-end binding that leaves other bindings in the shade.
Highback
The new X comes with the new Ultra Hi-Back made of carbon. Extremely light and extremely reactive. With this highback you have full control in any terrain.
Baseplate
With less material and better cushioning, EST® saves weight and opens up new possibilities for flex, feel and limitless stance options. The single-component baseplate construction throughout the baseplate ensures consistent responsiveness and optimal feel on any terrain. The lightweight 50:50 carbon/nylon material mix is complemented by the new SpringBED™ cushioning.
Straps
The asymmetrical Hammockstraps™ give you a loose feel for jibbing on the one hand, and when you flip them over, an absolutely firm hold for powder. The Supergrip Capstrap™ 2.0 blends two materials into a single, technically advanced strap. A firmer material on the strap provides a supportive and lightweight framework, while the softer overlay material better wraps the boot for more comfort. Be the first to ride with Burton's Double Take buckles. Spiral serration provides instant engagement, faster tightening and fewer total pulls to buckle up tight. The result is more power, speed and easier handling.
