Product description
Surf snow in your own backyard
A resurrection of the 1981 Burton Backhill, this ride-able piece of history is built for surfing snow in your own backyard. While this snowboard is gripped and ready to rip, it is not recommended for riding at resorts or on hardpack or icy conditions. Please consult your resort before riding The Throwback on their trails.
Riding Style
This board is for riders who have their roots in skateboarding or surfing and want to combine these riding styles with snow. Hike, surf, enjoy.
Shape
Directional is the classic snowboard shape, designed to be ridden with a longer nose than tail, providing you with plenty of float, flow, and control. The nose is wider than the tail, promoting smooth turn entry and exit, stability at speed, and enhanced deep snow flotation.
Profile
Directional Flat Top is a flat profile overall with a rocker nose for the steady stability and effortless float demanded by deep days and surfy terrain.
Flex
The wooden construction makes this board relatively stiff for a direct and responsive feel.
Construction
Lighter, stronger, and more sustainable with full FSC™ certified wood across the board. The Extruded Base features speed, strength, and graphical pop that requires little maintenance.
