Product description
THUNDER AND LIGHTNING ON THE MOUNTAIN!
The Bataleon Thunder is based on the award-winning Storm snowboard. The Thunder is a directional freeride board that allows you to absolutely shred the entire resort and everything beyond. Strap this beast under your feet and let the thunder and lightning come down!
Riding style
With the Thunder you can destroy any terrain on the mountain. It's made to lay down the hardest lines and fastest rides with you.
Shape
The Thunder has a directional shape. The Directional 3BT™ is rather narrow, while the lift of the SideKicks™ is slightly more pronounced at the nose than at the tail. SideKick™ tips increase edge lift at the widest points of the nose and tail for even easier turn initiation, more float and better handling in difficult terrain.
Profile
Directional 3BT™ offers a relatively narrow centrebase and, in the case of the Thunder, slightly more edge lift at the nose than at the tail. This provides additional float in the powder. The Dynamic Camber is perfectly dosed for aggressive and powerful shredding.
Flex
The flex is medium hard (6/10), just right for fast rides and deep snow.
Construction
The Light Core of poplar wood and paulownia is additionally reinforced with light and strong Tri-Ax fibreglass. This makes the board extremely stable and gives it powerful pop. Carbon reinforcements have been installed along the entire length of the board. These provide extra torsional stiffness, edge hold and pop. The sintered Ultra Glide S base is hard and fast and remains so when well maintained. The Dual Super Tubes upgrade, two hollow carbon rods milled into the core. They give you more pop and snap. The backseat inserts ensure a setback with enough float even on the deepest days.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
