Product description
This deck is everything but a disaster
The Disaster is the jib machine the Bataleon team riders rely on! Whether park boxes or urban street rails, this thing gets it all. It's the softest board of the range and it's made for butters, presses and slides. Just check out the bangers that Jaeger and Gulli deliver with this one.
Riding Style
All the rails and boxes of this world, this is where the Disaster feels home. Jibbing is its motto, parks and streets. Period.
Shape
In the park, there's only one true shape and that's the true twin. The Disaster comes with its unique Jib 3BT™ shape with a symmetrical tip and tail. The new SideKick™ Tips increase the edge uplift on the widest points of nose and tail for easier turn initiation.
Profile
The Jib 3BT™ has the widest centerbase and a low but longest edge uplift of all, starting from inside of the bindings. This results in more buttery jibs and less hang-ups. The low camber is almost flat, but provides enough pop to ollie onto those rails.
Flex
The soft flex (3/10) is made for jibbing. Rails and boxes are yearning to be ripped by this board.
Construction
The Core Core is a full poplar with beech hardwood laid tip to tail along the inserts strengthening the board’s backbone, reinforcing the inserts and producing more pop.
It is sandwiched with bi-axial fibreglass. This means great press and pop properties plus a quick manoeuvrability. The extruded Super Slick X Base is very durable, fast and requires almost just minimal care.

Subject to alterations according to the manufacturer. Image is non-binding.
Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
