Product description
Ultimate freestyle performance in powder - a groundbreaking ski for pure fun on epic days
The Atomic Bent Chetler 120 stands for pure riding fun in the deepest powder. The "Big Boss" of the Bent Chetler family is a wide deep snow ski, which feels most comfortable in the steepest terrain and in waist-high powder. It meets the demands of the most experienced freeriders who want to land switch even in the deepest snow, whether heli-skiing or in the remote backcountry. The Bent Chetler 120 delivers uncompromisingly what is demanded of it.
Riding style
A freeride/powder ski for experts. Shape, design, profile and construction have been specially tuned to deliver the best performance in powder. Maximum lift and manoeuvrability for deepest snow, whether forward or switch.
Shape
This ski comes with a Directional Twin shape, the nose is a few millimetres wider than the tail, with a central binding position. Thus the ski offers you the same skiing characteristics forward and switch. However, thanks to the slightly wider nose you get a little more lift in the soft snow.
Profile
The Powder Rocker profile combines a tip and tail rocker with regular camber under the binding. This profile gives the skis a lot of pop and control. The rocker in nose and tail makes the ski a little more forgiving and gives it more lift in deep snow.
Construction
With the Dura Cap Sidewall construction, the sidewall extends the full length of the ski for maximum power transfer and edge control. The rounded shape makes the Dura Cap Sidewall even less susceptible to scratches and damage. The Light Woodcore consists of poplar wood. This wood core reduces weight while dampening vibrations and providing smoother riding experience. The HRZN Tech in tip and tail is reminiscent of the shape of a spoon. It increases the surface of the ski ends by 10 % and provides sensational lift. The Carbon Backbone is an ultra-light carbon insert from tip to tail. This improves edge grip and reduces weight at the same time.

Freeskis are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new skis should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
