Product description
Armada Invictus 99 TI: Round two for this freeride weapon
In only its second year the Invictus 99Ti receives a full construction overhaul to add life and response to its already award-winning construction. Poised to answer the demands of ski testers and athletes alike, new metal laminate and Intelligrid Mesh ensure the fastest rebound and chatter control while the 99mm waist validates this ski from hard-pack to powder days. This one ski will make other quivers, well, quiver.
Riding Style
With its 99 mm width, this ski gives you a lot of boost on powdery days, or when you are generally in the deep snow. It is not too wide, however, to control it on the slopes.
Shape
The wide freeride ski gives you enough stability with powder turns and jumps in the backcountry.
Profile
The AR Nose Rocker (Tip Rocker) allows the skis to be slightly churning. The traditional, positive camber under the binding assures the necessary grip.
Flex
7 tip - 7.5 waist / middle - 8 tail (1 = soft, 10 = hard). The slightly harder tuning of the flex underlines the stability and running stability in deep snow as well as on the slopes.
Construction
Power-Lite core made of hardwood is for more power, carbon and kevlar elements are in the ski for the necessary pop and liveliness. The ski has a laminate matrix, which provides stability against rotation and thus improves control. The AR50 sidewall construction provides grip and minimises weight on tip and tail.
- 2.2 impact edge - heat-treated, built to avoid excess weight while maintaining durability
- AR nose Rocker - traditional sidecut profile with tip rocker – for all-mountain ripping.
- AR50 sidewall
- carbon kevlar strut - carbon and kevlar stringers used in the tip and/or tail to add pop and extend life
- Comp series Base - Armada's fastest base
- Power-Lite Core - stability, power and control are paramount in this 100% wood core, enhanced with hardwood stringers, to provide supreme smoothness.
- Titanal - two layers of metal provides stability at the highest of speeds

Freeskis are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new skis should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
