Product description
Quick and durable park ski, what’s not to like?
A staple of Armada’s park line up the El Rey offers quickness and durability for astonishing value. With traditional camber and a lively sidecut the El Rey has one the shortest turning radius of Armada’s line up. The quickness is supplemented with 20% softer core and carbon tail stringers to give the ski a poppy yet forgiving feel, which give confidence in the park and around the mountain. As is standard in Armada’s park skis the El Rey features thicker edges and a more durable base, this combined with cap construction makes a truly bombproof ski. The El Rey or ‘the king’ in Spanish will take you from the park through the whole mountain out onto the streets and back.
Riding Style
The El Rey has the durability and quickness to ride the park, streets and the whole mountain.
Shape
Traditional twin tip, confortable riding forwards or switch. Has one of the shortest turning radiuses of Armada’s line.
Profile
Full camber with contact points at the tip and tails of the ski. Gives great turn initiation and edge hold to carve on to the biggest kickers
Flex
Tip – 6, Waist -7 Tail 6.5. (1 = softest, 10 = stiffest). Softer flex inspires confidence and allows the ski to be turned really easily.
Construction
Fleet Light Core wrapped in fiberglass, with carbon tail stringers and carbon matrix. The ski soft enough to turned easily but has pop in the tail and torsional rigidity so it feels solid in the air and on features. Cap construction adds durability and life the ski, whilst keeping the ski light. S7 base and thicker heat treated 2.5 Impact Edges maintain the traditional Armada durability.

Freeskis are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new skis should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
