Product description
Take your park riding to the backcountry, with the ultimate freestyle powder board - the Amplid Dada
Replacing the popular Pillow Talk, the Dada is the newest member of the Future Shapes family and combines fresh ideas with decades of design experience. Plenty of width, a pinch of taper and long, early-rising tips mean you’ll have to try hard to sink it. The geometry of the Dada gives the board a lot of float, but with a freestyle specific performance to land switch and pop tricks off of anything you can find in the backcountry.
Riding Style
Backcountry Freestyle for intermediate to advanced level riders - Do you consider untouched powder-lines as a snowpark with unlimited possibilities? Then this board is the right choice for you.
Shape
A Twin shape with Taper. The snowboard rides equally well in both directions, whether switch or forward. A tapered shape means the nose is wider than the tail, this enhances deep snow flotation.
Profile
The Directional Cruise Camber profile has an under-foot camber with a large rocker area in the nose. The enormous float of the rockered nose improves manoeuvrability while the camber underfoot provides edge hold and response.
Flex
The medium-stiff flex provides you with a lively board that allows you to stay in control at all speeds and pop over everything.
Construction
The Jekyll and Hyde geometry maximises the effective edge and square centimetres at a minimum board length. Resulting in unsinkable but nimble powder boards and jib decks with a huge pop. The HEXO2 technology replaces specific areas of weightier wood at the tips with featherlight recycled paper honey-comb, practically eliminating swing weight. The Omni Core is a dependable, low -density poplar wood core which is lightweight, durable and has great flex.

Subject to alterations according to the manufacturer. Image is non-binding.
Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
